At heart, I’m an absurdist propaganda painter who bends physical gravity and imagery to spark conversation. I studied the human form while working in morgues in Maui and Honolulu, and as a combat veteran who volunteered in Iraqi hospitals. My classical schooling spans Chicago, Indiana, and Portland, and I teach private classes on spatial placement and mark making. I aim to reflect the experience of being fully yourself in a space—awkward but genuine. I prioritize impact over intention, creating space for difficult conversations with a focus on equanimity in perspective.
